Ms. Solari’s Classroom

I'm Maria Cristina Solari. I've been a teacher for almost 12 year in my native country, Perú. I graduated in 2009 from the Monterrico National Pedagogic Institute and I have worked in the secondary level since then. What I love the most about teaching is the connection we create with every single person in a class. Contributing to someone's formative and academic development successfully is the best reward I can have as a teacher.

This year is a huge challenge for me as I'm away from home, in a new culture and in a new school! Luckily for me, I'll go through all that at ALA. From day one, everyone made me feel part of this amazing family and I'm sure this experience will be incredible.

Cooking is my second passion (teaching is always first). I love having friends or relatives at my place and cook for them. Dessert? I can eat them all but not prepare them.
