ACT TEST

The ACT test is a curriculum-based education and career planning tool for high school students that assesses the mastery of college readiness standards. Academic skills are assessed in English, Reading, Mathematics and Science Reasoning.

The ACT is required for admissions at most college and universities in the state of Utah, as well as out of state institutions. Many merit based scholarships require ACT scores for eligibility.

The ACT is offered to all students in their junior year at no cost.  Test date is usually the first week in March.

Most students who take the ACT an additional time see an increased score.

Senior students who require scores for college admission and/or scholarships should take the exam early in the fall in order to receive scores in time.
