About Mr. Lybbert

I was born in northern Alberta, Canada and lived most of my life on a ranch three miles from a village called Cherry Grove. The service station, gas station, post office, and grocery store were all in the same building. Yes, we lived out in the sticks, and yes, I did used to say, “eh?” when I talked. I’m married to a beautiful southern gal. We have four children and four grandchildren. We love to do stuff as a family like camping, riding four wheelers, and playing games. This is my fifteenth year of teaching. I taught fifth grade for seven years and third grade for seven years. I feel very welcome here at ALA with friendly and supportive staff all around me. I’m also very excited to be teaching fourth grade at ALA in the dual immersion program. I have two groups of wonderful students that are full of potential and I can’t wait to aid them in their learning.
