    • This is my 6th year teaching here at ALA
  • What do you teach?
    • Junior High Math
  • Where did you go to college?
    • Associates Degree in Design Technology from SUU
    • Bachelor of Architectural Studies from U of U
    • Bachelor of Elementary Education with a Math Endorsement from SUU
  • What are some fun facts about you:
    • Have been married for 23 years and have 5 wonderful children
    • My wife writes computer code and has an IT Degree from SUU
    • My oldest son is currently serving a mission in Wichita Kansas
    • I am a 4th generation teacher (Dad, Grandma, G-Grandpa)
    • I am a “military brat” with my dad retiring as a Major from the Airforce when I was in high School
    • I’ve flown on both a C-141 and a C-5 across the pacific ocean
    • I have lived most of my life in Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and Hawaii
    • I spent 1 1/2 years as a test driver for VW in Arizona
      • Drove: VW, Audi, Scoda, Seat, and Bentley
      • I got to drive both a Bentley Continental and Bentley Mulsanne
    • I have had pet snakes for 37 years
      • My Ball Python is over 26 years old
    • I made the Construction Drawings (aka Blue Prints) for ALA’s Track upgrade a few years ago.
    • I enjoy camping and playing D&D with my family, though not at the same time.
    • I love teaching math, but I also really like History and Science.  
      • English is probably my worst subject.
    • I taught 6th grade here at ALA my first year as a teacher.
    • I’ve been teaching 7th & 8th Math ever since and love it.
