About Mr. Burr
Dr. Kevin L. Burr has been involved in thirty-five years of varied experience with academia at four major institutions of higher education including the College of Southern Nevada, Oklahoma State University, Missouri State University and most recently at Brigham Young University. Through these thirty-five years Dr. Burr has served in many capacities from lecturer to department chair and dean. Dr. Burr’s doctorate degree is in Occupational and Adult Education with an emphasis on Higher Education Administration. Both his masters and bachelors degrees are also in education and his associates degree in architecture. Much of Dr. Burr’s research has focused upon the interpretation and enhancement of learning including non-traditional learning methodologies, sustainable design for buildings and building information modeling (BIM). His technical skills are as an architect and a builder. Being such coupled with his academic pursuits has led him for the past twenty-one years to be involved with the Construction Management department at Brigham Young University.
