About Mr. Hill

I grew up in various parts of Colorado for 19 years but, where my parents call home is Grand Junction currently. After serving a LDS mission, I attended a trade school where I received my associates in Architectural Drafting. After graduating from trade school I moved to Jackson Hole, WY where I met my wife, Noelee, then moved to Arizona. We lived there for 12 years where we started having our family. After living in Arizona we had the opportunity to move to Utah where I decided to go back to school. Our son, Tanner who is now 19 years old and Madelyn who is 11 years old love Utah and the excitement it has to offer. We have been living in Salem for 7 years. I attended Utah Valley University, and graduated in May of 2018 (Go Wolverines) where I received my BS in education.

This will be my 5th year teaching at ALA where I hope to continue to build strong relationships both with faculty, students and parents. I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoying the great outdoors. My hobbies include fishing, camping and anything that involves the great outdoors. I have also recently begun to try my hand at fly fishing. I have been raising chickens now for the last 3 years and love it. My philosophy can be summed up in the quote from Star Wars with Yoda and Luke, “Moving stones around is one thing Master, this is totally different”… “No, try not either Do or do not, there is no try”
