About Mr. Monsen
I have been in Education for 27 years. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Southern Utah University. Later, I received a Masters Degree in Educational Counseling at University of Phoenix. Through the Utah State Office of Education, I received my Secondary Education Certificate in History and Chinese. This is my tenth year at American Leadership Academy. During those ten years, I have worked with high school, junior high, and elementary aged students. These duties have included coaching, teaching Chinese, and History, working as a school counselor, 2nd grade dual immersion and currently 6th grade . I have been married now for 31 years. My wife and I have four boys. Their support for my work has been great over all these years.
