About Mr. Walker

I grew up in Alpine and graduated from American Fork High School.

Utah State University gave me a scholarship to their music department so I went to Logan and earned a B.A. degree and endured the cold winters.

My wife and I are True Aggies!

When I was operating a recording studio in Salt Lake I realized I didn't have much business savvy so I went back to school and earned a master's degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.

We moved from Salt Lake to Spanish Fork  so I could run the local TV channel and teach classes in TV Broadcasting and Video Production for MTech.

15 years later a few of the good teachers at ALA persuaded me to come here.  The students are among the most respectful I have ever seen and I enjoying teaching them and seeing them make progress.

Having grown up with the mountains as my backyard I still enjoy the outdoors and now that I teach photography I look for excuses to take pictures of nature.

My wife and I have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren.

My hope is that students learn something in class that will benefit them the rest of their lives.
