Ms. G was born and raised in Guatemala and moved to the States when she was 15 years old. Graduated from Katy High School in Texas before moving to Utah. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism and Broadcasting, and a Minor in Spanish from Utah Valley University. She has a Masters of Arts in English from the University of Southern California, and an Endorsement in ESL from Brigham Young University. She is a lifelong learner and is now pursuing another Masters degree from Brigham Young University. She loves people and different cultures and enjoys traveling around the world with her two daughters Savannah and Kimber. If she is not teaching, you can always find her reading or writing; her two favorite hobbies besides running or teaching fitness. She is fluent in English, Spanish, Portugeze and Italian.

Her teaching philosophy is: Every student can learn as long as they have a desire and a work ethic! Every teacher can teach as long as they know that teaching is not just about books and theories, but about people and life!
