About Ms. Rogers

I am very excited to be working at ALA for the second year! This is my 6th year teaching, and I cannot believe how much I love my job. I received my BA degree in ASL and Deaf Studies Education from UVU., and I have a level 2 teaching license.

Somethings about me… I grew up in southern Ca then my family moved us to Oregon and then Utah, and I have been here ever since. I was always involved in dance or theater. I was on my high schools swim team. I am married and living in Lehi. I am a mom to 3 sons and 1 daughter. People and different languages fascinate me, swimming with dolphins is on my bucket list. I enjoy: watching mysteries, reading, traveling, making lists, holidays, eating apple fritters, sweeping, and hot weather! Lastly, I love ASL and teaching, so coming to work is joyful for me. I hope my joy is passed on to my students and they learn that Deaf culture is amazing, and signing is fun!
