About Mrs. Dinsdale
Mrs. Dinsdale is starting her 3rd year of teaching in the CTE department! She will be teaching Foods 1 & 2, Child Development, Fashion Design, and new this year Baking and Pastries!
Mrs. D graduated “Summa Cum Laude” in 2016 from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Family Life Studies and a minor in Management. Mrs. Dinsdale has worked in multiple positions such as; Coordinator for an after-school program which focused on financial literacy, college and career readiness, and health and nutrition; House of Hope: substance use disorder treatment facility for women where she was a family specialist mentoring mothers to rebuild healthy relationships with their children; FCS assistant at USU Extension teaching community members nutrition, cooking skills, financial literacy, and sewing classes.
Mrs. D has a passion for learning and growing (which is a lifelong pursuit). She especially enjoys the developing years of children & teens and understands the importance of the development of the brain/mind in these years. This has been the main reason for her career turn towards secondary CTE teaching. Throughout her life, Mrs. D has moved over 25 times, which has helped cultivate her passion for observing people and her appreciation of different cultures.
Mrs. D loves to be active and fully enjoys the outdoors. When she isn’t teaching & cultivating relationships, she can be found at most ALA events, hiking in the mountains, taking walks with her husband, riding bikes down the pathways, playing soccer with her daughters, or paddle boarding wherever she can find a lake or body of water.
With Mrs. D you always have a voice and as her motto goes “If you have a choice, choose to be kind”
