About Mr. Keith
A born musician, Mr. Jordan Keith has been playing the piano and singing for as long as anyone who knows him can remember. After graduating from high school in Thatcher, AZ where he sang with and accompanied the show choir and boy’s quartet, Mr. Keith went on to earn an Associate of Music Education at Eastern Arizona College. While at EAC he sang with Dr. David Lunt’s Acapella Choir, Choraleers, and Men’s Quartet and decided definitively that music would be his career. After serving an LDS church mission in New York, New York, Mr. Keith enrolled at Brigham Young University as a Media Music Major. While at BYU he sang with the acclaimed acapella group Vocal Point, winning the International Collegiate Acapella Association Award for best acapella group in 2006 for the first time in the school’s history. Nearing graduation, Mr. Keith was offered a recording contract in L.A., but opted to start a family and share his love of music, marrying his sweetheart Ariana Amy Leinbach in August of 2005 and pursuing a teaching credential. He took his first teaching job in Higley, AZ and later moved to Safford, AZ where he taught both high school and junior high choir and musical theater, as well as private voice lessons for ten years. While teaching in Safford he received his Masters Degree in Music Education from the University of Florida. Continuing his choral directing career Mr. Keith moved to Logan, UT and directed the choral program at Sky View High School. At this time he also helped coach the Sky View Swim Team and taught concurrent enrollment classes for Utah State University. Mr. Keith is thrilled to be teaching at American Leadership Academy where he currently directs the Jr. High Show Choir (InPulse), the Musical Dance Theater Program, and the 7th Grade Leadership classes. Mr. Keith is a father to two wonderful sons and two amazing daughters. He continues to inspire his vocal students with his talent and passion for singing and performing.
