About Mr. Lockwood

My name is James Lockwood and I am a high school English teacher here at ALA. I attended Western Governors University for 3 years, where I attained my Bachelor's in educational studies and Masters in Secondary English Education and gained a love of helping students grow. This is my first year teaching and I am so excited to work with parents, other teachers, and administration here to help all my students recognize their true potential. I believe that curiosity and a growth mindset are essential in the classroom and I strive to see every one of my students find joy in learning every day.
