Secondary Agriculture Teacher & FFA Advisor (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities
Instruction: Teach up to four (4) daily Agriculture/FFA courses aligned with Utah State Board of Education (USBE) standards.-
FFA Leadership & Competition: Serve as the FFA Advisor, overseeing chapter meetings and preparing students for Career and Leadership Development Events (CDEs/LDEs).

Off-Hour Work: Manage after-school practices, livestock projects, and weekend competitions. A $3,500 stipend is provided to compensate for these essential off-hour responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education or a related field.

Licensure: Must hold (or be eligible for) a valid Utah Professional Educator License with an endorsement in Agricultural Education.

Pathways: Candidates may qualify via an Associate Educator License (AEL) if they possess significant industry expertise in the preferred subject areas listed above.
