Job Description: 
Location: Spanish Fork, UT  Schedule: Monday – Thursday (4-Day School Week) Status: Part-Time Salary: $7,500 – $30,000 annually (pro-rated based on the number of classes taught) About the Role: American Leadership Academy is seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator to lead and grow our Agricultural Education program. We are looking for a visionary leader who can build a premier FFA chapter from the ground up, fostering a culture of leadership and career success.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction: Teach up to four (4) daily Agriculture/FFA courses aligned with Utah State Board of Education (USBE) standards.
  • FFA Leadership & Competition: Serve as the FFA Advisor, overseeing chapter meetings and preparing students for Career and Leadership Development Events (CDEs/LDEs).

  • Off-Hour Work: Manage after-school practices, livestock projects, and weekend competitions. A $3,500 stipend is provided to compensate for these essential off-hour responsibilities.

Preferred Subject Expertise We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background or interest in teaching:

  • Farm Mechanics & Agricultural Mechanics

  • Livestock Management

  • Agricultural Business & Agribusiness

  • Animal Science

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education or a related field.

  • Licensure: Must hold (or be eligible for) a valid Utah Professional Educator License with an endorsement in Agricultural Education.

  • Pathways: Candidates may qualify via an Associate Educator License (AEL) if they possess significant industry expertise in the preferred subject areas listed above.
