About the Role: American Leadership Academy is seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator to lead and grow our Agricultural Education program. We are looking for a visionary leader who can build a premier FFA chapter from the ground up, fostering a culture of leadership and career success.

Key Responsibilities

• Target Language Immersion: Provide 100% of instruction in Spanish using gestures, visuals, and modeling to facilitate comprehension. Early Literacy: Teach foundational Spanish literacy skills (phonics, decoding, and fluency) to young learners. Partner Collaboration: Work in close tandem with your English-speaking partner teacher to coordinate lesson plans, bridge concepts, and monitor student behavior. Cultural Enrichment: Integrate Hispanic culture, traditions, and music into the curriculum to broaden students’ global perspectives. Classroom Management: Maintain a high-energy, structured Kindergarten environment that emphasizes the “RISE UP” values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, Unity, Patriotism). Family Engagement: Help bridge the gap for non-Spanish-speaking parents by providing resources to support their child’s language journey at home.

• Daily Workflow In this 50/50 model, your day will typically look like this: Morning Block: You teach Math and Science in Spanish to Group A, while your partner teaches Literacy in English to Group B. Mid-Day: Students switch classrooms. Afternoon Block: You repeat your Math and Science lessons in Spanish for Group B, while your partner teaches Literacy to Group A. Why Join the ALA DLI Team?
