Ballroom & Hip Hop

About ALA Ballroom & Hip Hop Program

At American Leadership Academy the Ballroom Dance Program starts in High School and allows students the opportunity to learn and perform various dance styles, build teamwork and discipline, gain performance and choreography experience, represent our school at events, and potentially earn college scholarships as they become college and career ready. We are dedicated to showcasing the art of ballroom dance with elegance and integrity along with providing a fulfilling and rewarding experience.

The Hip Hop Program is available to our students in grades 5-12. We strive to inspire our students to have fun and express themselves creatively as they learn to focus on rhythm and coordination, build teamwork and discipline, gain performance and choreography experience, and represent our school at events while learning different styles of Hip Hop. This program provides a supportive environment for everyone regardless of their skill and level. It encourages the students to set dance goals and work to become strong competitive dancers.
