Choir
About ALA Choir Program
Taking show choir offers a range of advantages including developing vocal and performance skills, building confidence, fostering teamwork and collaboration, enhancing creativity, improving physical coordination through dance, and creating a strong social community
with shared goals, all while learning valuable life skills like
communication and time management.
Show choir is also available to our elementary and junior high students starting in 5th grade. These students have the opportunity to meet twice a week with our High School Choir Director where they learn choral singing combined with choreographed dance.

Meet The Director

Gabriel Lee
Choir Director
Prior to joining the ALA Fine Arts Team Gabriel was, by daily occupation, a private vocal coach, piano instructor, piano tuner/technician and composition teacher in Utah County. He graduated from BYU with a degree in Theory and Composition, where he performed two seasons with the Young Ambassadors touring Europe and Southern Africa. Over the years he’s had the rich privilege of having roles on all sides of the production process; singing, drama, accompanying, film-composing and acting, and stage directing. He is very grateful for this new chance to work with young people throughout the school year, assisting them in the development of their artistic craft and vision.
