Mrs. Jensen’s Classroom

Hi! My name is Lesley Jensen. I grew up in Northern California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I have been in Utah for 13 years now and have been teaching at ALA since 2016. I graduated from Brigham Young University in August of 2012 in Elementary Education and have taught fourth, third, second, and am in my fourth year teaching first grade. Moving through the grades has given me great insight on what the students need each year. I love the community we have here at ALA. It feels like my home away from home. 

I have 5 children and a wonderful husband who I have been married to for 18 years. All 5 of my kids attend ALA. We love to spend time together playing games, going for bike rides, and watching movies. 

When I have the time, I like to read, cook, paint, spend time outdoors, and do crafts. 

I am looking forward to another great year at ALA!
