This will be my first year teaching at ALA, but I have taught 5^th grade, 3^rd grade, and 2^nd grade in the Gilbert School District in Arizona for the past 14 years. This will be my 13^th year teaching 3^rd grade, and it is my all-time favorite grade. I absolutely LOVE teaching and am proud to call myself an ALA Eagle!

I received my education degree from Brigham Young University and recently moved to Spanish Fork from Mesa, AZ. I am the mother of two boys who are both grown-ups now and still live in Arizona. My husband and I have been married for 28 years and he is currently completing a Master of Physician Assistant Studies program in Provo. I love to spend time playing games with my family, hiking in the mountains, reading, baking, and organizing things.

Third grade will be filled with many new and exciting things to learn and experience.  We will be working hard this year, but we will also have lots of fun, and I will do my best to make every minute count. With your help, I know we will have a terrific year.
