This course teaches how to communicate, interpret, and analyze quantitative information found in the media and in everyday life to make sound personal, professional, and civic decisions. Topics include sets, algebra, geometry, and statistics. Emphasis is on problem solving and critical thinking. Fulfills Advanced Math and Opportunity Scholarship requirement. (Complete Secondary Math 1,2, and 3 courses with a “C” average each year OR Math 1030 must have a minimum ACT score of 23+)
