Dance Weight Training

This class is designed for students to tone, shape, and strengthen. Class is individually oriented. This course is designed for those with little or no experience in weight training. In this class, students will learn how to structure a workout toward individual
goals and needs. Students will learn lift techniques, using free weights and machines, to perform upper and lower body lifts necessary to develop muscular strength and endurance. Circuit training and set/repetition system weight training will be introduced and demonstrated during this course. Fulfills a graduation requirement for PE Elective.
