Animal Science

Students will develop knowledge and skill in a wide range of scientific principles, including genetics, anatomy, physiology, nutrition, disease, pests and management practices. The scientific processes of observation, measurement, hypothesizing, data gathering,
interpretation, analysis, and application are included. Learning activities are varied with classroom, laboratory and field experiences emphasized. Upon completion of this course State Skill Test #120 will be administered. May not be offered every year. This course may be taken for CTE credit or for the applied science credit necessary for graduation.
