There will be 30 hours of class instruction. Road driving will be scheduled with the students on an individual basis. Driver’s Education is not a graduation requirement, it provides elective credit only. Fees required. Students who will be 16 on or before February 23, 2023, should register for Driver Education first semester. Those students who will be 16 on or before July 18, 2023, should register for the second semester. Students who will be 16 on or before October 30, 2022, may register for summer driving. A student will need to acquire a learner permit from the DLD before the first day of class.
