Earth Systems is the study of planet Earth and its interlocking systems. It has four main parts: space, which focuses on the origins of the Earth and the universe, as well as the factors that make life possible; plate tectonics, which focuses on the shaping of the outer part of the Earth via earthquakes and volcanoes; water, which focuses on the features, movement, and management of freshwater and seawater on Earth; and atmosphere, which focuses on the changes causes of weather and climate. This is an introductory course in Earth Science.
