An intermediate explanatory course teaching advanced jewelry making skills and design concepts. The intensive use of materials and exploration of advanced techniques such as etching, fusing, sand blasting, acid bath, lost wax casting, raising, moving parts, enameling and lapidary are covered. Students should be able to demonstrate and communicate understanding of complex design construction.
