Speech & Debate A & B

Basic debate and argumentation skills along with public speaking skills will be taught including writing and presenting argumentative papers. Students will learn differences between the three forms of debate; fact, value, and policy. Students will learn to research, prepare, and present arguments and discuss current events from multiple points of view. Students will prepare and present speeches in multiple situations and gain confidence in themselves and their public speaking.(Elective class)
