Job Description:

Under the direction of the Executive Director or whomever he/she chooses, oversees all aspects of the operation of the School’s Child Nutrition Program (CNP), including administration, planning, directing, assessing, implementing, and evaluating the program in order to provide all students with a safe, healthy and nutritious meal.

Qualifications and Credentials:

The Food Service Director shall be responsible for food service related business and personnel management. He/she shall be responsible for supervising, coordinating and directing the work duties of all food service personnel, and the preparation and distribution of meals at the school. He/she shall make sure the school’s program complies with local, state and federal agency requirements complete all required reports and operate the program in a businesslike manner.
