The MTec provides technical training, apprenticeships and certifications that will provide workplace skills to increase earning potential and allow students to enter careers that are in demand.

Free Tuition for Utah High School Students (program / supply fees apply)

Admission Requirements:

Students must be at least 16 years old and pass a basic entrance exam to enroll or by bringing a copy of external testing or alternative documentation to the testing center for approval.

See specific program details for age requirements, some require students to be juniors or seniors.

Completion time varies by program from 2 weeks to 2 years.

Courses are generally taken during the school day and can be worked around the high school schedule. (Some programs offer flexible evening, weekend and summer courses).​

3 Campus locations:

Orem, Thanksgiving Point, and Spanish Fork. Most ALA students attend the SF campus, due to its close proximity (across the street).
