Way to go Mrs. Prisbrey! Congrats on being awarded the Elementary Teacher of the Month for March

– I have been teaching 3rd grade at ALA for the last 2 years, but this is my 16th year teaching overall. My husband and I moved to Utah 2 years ago and absolutely love living in Spanish Fork.

– I have been married to my wonderful husband for 30 years and have two boys who are now grown-ups. In my free time I like to read, go on hikes with my husband, bake yummy treats, and organize things.

– I love ALA because it is filled with passionate teachers who truly care about students and each other. I have never felt so welcomed and supported and have made life-long friends here with ALA families and staff.

– My favorite quote is:
You can teach a student a lesson for a day, but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.
