About Ms. Brown

I was born in Salt Lake City and grew up in Syracuse, Utah. Math has been my passion since elementary school. I went to BYU Provo and earned a bachelor's degree in Math Education. I started at ALA in 2020 and I am so excited to continue teaching here. The student body at ALA is incredibly talented and I enjoy watching them perform. I am confident they will change the world!

When I'm not doing math, I enjoy rock climbing, dancing, and spending time outdoors with my family. I firmly believe everyone can succeed in math and hope to inspire a love of mathematics in my students. My favorite thing about teaching is sharing my passion for math with my students.
